
Tea Activated Wine, in short TAVIN (Vin stands for Wine), is a new tasting experience that combines millennial Western Tradition in Wine Culture with millennial Eastern Tradition of Tea Culture. Tea and wine have a lot in common. Both are celebrated and performed in the style of serving and consumption by unlocking the senses to immerse in color, smell, flavor and texture. Both beverages contain important elements extracted from natural production processes of its crop, such as tannins, catechins, and polyphenols providing antioxidants for the body. The combination of both, the tealeaf activation and wine infusion culminate in the ultimate tasting experience, that allows you to contrast the impact of various tea choices in the wine.

1. Start with the base-wine Blanc Du Bois, Dry White.

2. Choose Two out of the available Six Tea-styles ranging from China, Taiwan and Japan.

3. Compare color, nose and palate amongst the three tastings.

The tasting consists of the base-wine tasting (calibration tasting), followed by two out of the six offered tea-leaf infused wine tastings (contrast tasting), and concludes with a tea serving (cleansing finish).
Tastings require a reservation and a non-refundable reservation fee of $30.- which will be deducted upon check in on the day of performance. Tavin tastings are being held in our Tea-Lounge during regular tasting room hours and last approximately 45 minutes.
